Day 1 with the Minihorse

Today our minihorse Piewicket and Katcher were delivered to our farmstead. The previous owner is having to retire from farming for medical reasons.

Her name is Max and she is a fabulous woman who went from being a newscaster on television in Los Angeles to starting a hobby farm in Washington, pretty much all my herself… original gangster status. 😍

Our friend’s mother connected Max with us, knowing that Max needed to find a great home for her horse loves Katcher and Piewicket. We are hoping Katcher will be a great horse for me to ride. My husband will ride our current horse Summer. And my daughter is going to try and ride Piewicket the minihorse 😂

Piewicket and Katcher are getting along just great with our current horse summer.

Stay tuned for more pictures and adventures of Piewicket the minihorse at Dragos Farm !

I can’t even believe how awesome minihorses are. I didn’t realize they would act and behave so much like a…. little horse! This little guy stands his ground around the other horses and it is precious. He doesn’t get picked on even though he’s little 🙂
